The rating plate is usually inside the door frame, under the lid, behind the kick plate or on the rear panel. It carries the complete model number, often including a suffix or revision code that determines which parts fit. That suffix matters enormously: the same headline model built a year apart can take a different pump, belt or lid lock. Always read the full string off the plate rather than the marketing name on the front of the machine.
