Repair or replace?
This is the good news version of a no-heat microwave — the part is genuinely cheap and almost all the cost is skilled labour. On an over-the-range or built-in unit it is well worth doing. On a countertop model, the labour alone still lands close to the price of a new microwave, which is the uncomfortable truth about the whole category.
